Errors on maps and database

I went to a bar/restaurant a few months ago in Costa Mesa,CA, and my Garmin unit was completely wrong. It was telling me it's right there on the left, when it's around the corner, across the freeway and a half block down the street.
I went again last week, and it's still wrong. I had updated to the very latest map data last month.
I kind of expected this to be fixed by now. I looked at the place on google maps and that seems right, and I looked on the Navteq map reporter and that seems right. I can't see reporting it, the data seems OK now. But not the data in my unit.
But my Garmin unit seems wrong. I wonder what would account for that?

I think that the map data comes from Navteq but the POI data that Garmin uses comes from another source.

Address Correct?
Does it show the correct location if you enter the actual address?
The built in POI data is incomplete at best, that's why POI Factory is such a useful website and why the POI files here are generally much more accurate.

Both the poi data and the map data come from navteq. Report the error on mapreporter.com

Another suggestion
Use Google Earth to get the EXACT latitude and longitude of the establishment and build a custom POI. Trust me, your GPSr will get you there.
