Anniying start-up pop-up

Suddenly, when I boot my machine, I am getting a pop-up from Garmin saying that it wants me to register my "new" Garmin. I have two Garmins that have been running all year and longer. If I click to ignore it, it comes back at the next boot. It's annoying. Any ideas?

Have you registered it?

Both registered

Both have been registered long ago. This just started happening on its own.

Then

I would try updating them using web updater. Garmin may need to connect to them to reset something in their firmware.

OK

I'll try that. Thanx.

Check Your Registration

If the problem continues after following Box Car's suggestion of using WebUpdater, you can try another approach.

Since you have two units (255W & 2450LM), I believe it's only happening on the 2450LM and not both Nuvi's.
You didn't specify in your post so I'm only guessing.

Please confirm both units are in fact registered by signing into your Garmin account, under "My Products", choose "View Your Registered Products", both units should appear there. If one is missing you will need to register it.

If both appear, select the model you are receiving the popup for and check details. Here you have the option to "Delete Registration". Delete the Registration and then go back and register it again.
Perhaps something is corrupt and hopefully this will correct it.

Garmin Pop-Up

Same thing happened to me with my 2460LMT. I had to uninstall the updater then re-install a newer version.
