My Garmin nuvi 785t stop working

My Garmin nuvi 785t was operating great. I was using with my car adapter. It failed to start last week All I got was the logo screen and go to the map loading and when it finished loading the screen went blank. What is wrong. The battery is charged and I did not have it on security lock.
Are You Sure
That the battery is fully charged?
Does it turn on when you plug it into the cars cigarette lighter?
Connect it to your computer and make sure your gmapprom.img and gmapprom.unl codes are present.
If they are let it stay connected to the computer for a while to charge.
If that fails try to do a hard reset, BUT BACKUP UP YOUR FAVORITES FIRSt.
If you haven't done so already, please back up your entire Nuvi, it's always wise to do so.

Nice to hear your unit is working properly again.
BTW If in the future you have battery issues, replacing a bad battery in the 7XX series is probanly one of the easiest to do.
