Street you are driving on Partie deux

Often I am on highway that is part of several named routes.
In my town we have SE Third street, SR17 and SR94. I had borrowed a Magellan that displayed all three names while not in navigation mode. I can't remember the model number. That was the only feature that I liked on that brand.

My 2 TomTom models listed all the names and road numbers as well. Don't really miss it on the Nuvi.

I still prefer to see then names of upcoming streets on my navigators.

I agree, that would be my preference. Upcoming names plus "Turn in x miles." works best for me.

I vote for upcoming streets. it really helps when driving in unknown areas. however, there are times I would like to find out what street I am driving on and my Nuvi doesn't list it (and there are no signs.)

Upcoming Streets
In Navigation mode, my NIVI40 lists the upcoming street on my side of the road. In Where To mode, the street name is on the map, if the resolution is low enough.
