Did you try right clicking and selecting "Save" ?
Sounds
hardy,
To download a sound such as your "jetson" audio:
http://www.poi-factory.com/node/10410
on the above page, right-click the file, then click "Save file as..." to save it to your PC. This will save the file to your computer. Please note where the file was saved so that you can find it.
Please also note that most (all?) sound files here at The Factory are mp3 audio, and many Garmin GPS units can not play mp3 files--this includes your nuvi 1350. To be able to use audio files with your nuvi, you will need to convert the audio file to a wav and follow the other instructions for getting audio alerts for Custom POIs loaded to your nuvi. See:

Here is an online audio converter
To be able to use audio files with your nuvi, you will need to convert the audio file to a wav and

Someone remind me why we offer .mp3 files when most of the units need .wav files.
History and Garmin support
is why MP3 files are listed. Many older nuvi models came with MP3 players and MP3 alerts are documented in the POI Loader help documentation. AFAIK, there is no acknowledged support by Garmin for .WAV files. So that is why the practice of publishing MP3 files on POI Factory got started.
But I assume your question is why do we continue the practice. With present circumstances, it would make more sense to have .WAV files be the standard for POI Factory published alerts.

Lots Of Files To Convert to .wav?

Indeed it would be nice to have the files in .wav format, would save lots of time converting from mp3.
Since all units can play the wav files (using sox.exe) members with older units would not suffer. The only advantage they would loose is using the smaller mp3 files as opposed to larger wav files.

I think we should change to .wav
With the correct version of sox.exe properly installed in the POI Loader folder in Program Files, sounds work.
Alternatively, we could add .wav files on each sound file page. If 26 of us agreed to convert a letter of the alphabet, we could finish such a project in short order.

I'm up for that. Give me a couple of letters. I've already done everyone that I use (about a dozen or so).

What really stumps me is why Garmin uses WAV files in this day and age, especially with some folks reporting that some new map updates won't fit on their GPRSr. MP3 files are much smaller than WAV and can sound nearly as good.
Garmin DOES NOT use WAV

Garmin does not use WAV files. They have stated this many times and deny any knowledge of how to load WAV files on their units. Some developer installed and resourceful users discovered the "back door" in POI Loader that allows an older version of SOX to be invoked that will convert a WAV file into a file the newer units can use as an alert. If Garmin used WAV files, then they would allow music and audio files in WAV format - but they don't support those - hence, Garmin does not support WAV files. We just hope they don't delete the "Back door."

Is this issue dead?

I sent some wav files that I converted from MP3's to the admin, but haven't heard anything from them.
Is this issue dead? Seems to be a noble cause.

Usually takes a few days.
Some I sent in on 7/8 got posted on 7/11 (received email from JM). Last year when I sent them they were "lost". Never posted. So it kind of looks like a crap shoot.
