After getting my GPS, my dad wants one

After getting my GPS, my dad wants one, but his budget is $300. Which GPS would you suggest? I was thinking c330, but it was on the avoid list on GPSmagazine.com, but many of you seem happy with it. Do you have other suggestions?

Thank you,

Ur Choice

I have owned the C330 for over a year and am very happy with it for navigating and having "travel" POI's loaded aka rest areas, travel plazas (Pilot, TA etc) , Crackerbarrels etc.
Have used it for 4 extended trips of 11,500 miles, 3300 miles, 2750 miles & 1800 miles. Did a first class job for me!
I only use it for navigating - I don't need traffic control, Bluetooth capability.
Only problem I have ever had is that the screen washes in bright light. But the audio keeps working !
Can't beat it at todays prices as far as I'm concerned.

I see. Hmmm, this is a tough decision because TOMTOM ONE seemed like a good deal, but it uses TeleAtlas, which I have heard is not as accurate.
