Someone suggested using Voice Exchange for non-TTS voice files. The exe said it had been superseded by GarTool.
Anyone know if GarTool is OK to use?

Never heard of GarTool until your post. I don't use non-TTS voices anyway. I just googled it and it does look simple enough to backup/manage the following -
* Pictures
* Voices
* Vehicles
I guess you get a short evaluation period and then you get to register it and pay a few dollars.

Like bear007, I don't use non-TTS voices and have not heard of GarTool. But if making your own non-tts voice files is your thing, Garmin has a program called VoiceStudio (http://www8.garmin.com/support/download_details.jsp?id=4754). Also, turboccc had a program called Non-tts Voice Editor. I think both are free. I don't have a link for turboccc's program, but you can probably find it with a little googling.
