Topo Detail

I am still using a 2610 for my motorcycle trips as it is waterproof, shockproof (beat around on handlebar mount on dual sport rides for 80,000 miles), and runs the US TOPO 100K files. The TOPO detail is excellent. Does Garmin offer a newer version of the TOPO maps with GREATER detail? NOT 3D.
There are free alternatives with 1:24k detail
A great source for many US area topo maps with 1:24k detail is below. They work great with Garmin devices:
