Question about Nuvi 350 and saving location

Okay so, if I am looking at the map and I see where I want to go and I "click it"--it shows the route/city/whatever, then I get three choices: back, set location, Go. I don't want to go there, but set it as my favorite--how do I do that? Do you get what I am saying?

If you click on "Set Location" that will put the location in your favorites.

When you are "Viewing the Map", you see roads/streets and other details. When you "click it", the GPS tells you what it is--for example Interstate 95.
Followed by
I don't want to go there,
If I am sitting at home right now, I don't want to go there (I-95) now, but I may decide to go there tomorrow or sometime later and I just want to save that location (I-95) where I clicked to my favorites. How do I do that?

Clicking on "Set Location"
Clicking on "Set Location" only moves the car to the location, making the GPS think that this new location is my current location. Obviously this is when my GPS is off--no satellites.

I think this is what you want
1. Press the location you want.
2. Press 'Set Loc'.
3. Press 'Back'.
4. Press 'Menu'
5. Press 'Where to'.
6. Press 'My Locations'.
7. Press 'My Current Location'.
8. Press 'Save.
9. Enter the name you want and press 'Done'.
10. Press 'OK' when 'Saved to My Favorite Locations' window appears. It should now be in your 'Favorites'.
11. Press 'Back', 'Favorites', the new location, and 'Go'. The new location should be displayed.
Hope this is what you want.
