Well, been playing with my Nuvi 360 and it on many occassions has me turning left when I know where I am going is on the right and vice versa. Went to Chili's this afternoon and it was sending me to one of the Chili's that moved locations about 2 years ago. Am I doing something wrong or are these things wrong that often? The Chilie's has been in the new location for the same amount of time. It did not show the new location at all. I am in the Springfield, VA area. Thanks for helping.

Usually this scenario can be caused by a couple of things, one, the coordinates are wrong and two, the maps are not 100% correct. I have this sort of error when I am heading South on Pacific Coast Highway and my Nuvi 680 tells me to turn right, well guess what I would end in the ocean. In case of this type of error, it needs to be reported to

Change Poi's
When I find a local location in the POI file is incorrect, I go to Google Earth, find the correct coordinates and change it in the POI. Then when I go somewhere the Nuvi knows exactly where it is going.
I have also done this for new stores that have opened in my area. We just got a new Home Depot and Target in town, so I added them to the file.

Assume you are talking about custom POIs

I assume you are talking about Custom POI files. In addition to correcting your file, I hope you are sending a message to the author to correct and or update the posted file.
I thought that the original post was talking about the built in POIs. In that case you cannot correct them, only let Navteq know and hope it will be in the next update.

I signed up for this and added the information. Thanks again.
It happens
If you know the way, then you don't need a GPS, lol. Mistakes are rare but they exist. The biggest GPS weakness is pre-loaded POI's for locations like food. Just too many to keep up to date. GPS's are great when you are in a totally new area or city. What you don't know it doesn't know, doesn't hurt you, lol.
