Digital Camera Sales Up!

Digital Camera Sales Up!

Of course, it's the "Higher End" cameras, not the "Point and Click" cameras (those sales are down). Seems that most folks want a higher resolution camera with real "Optical Zoom" and more control for those "Important" family photos.

So, the Camera Phone has not brought about the end of the Digital Camera.

If it has a ring tone, it's not a camera! grin

I'm a serious hobbyist, and occasional freelancer. When upgrading my phone recently, the guy at the Apple store didn't like it when I told him I never used the camera in my old iPhone, seeing as I have a big bag of camera gear that goes almost everywhere with me.

P&S aren't doing well, but DSLR and the relatively new form factor, Single Lens Mirrorless, are selling well.

I'm definitely gonna have to take a look at the mirrorless reviews as I'm due for an upgrade.

Thanks!
