Updating the Choice Hotels file

I am planning a trip to Dollywood in August. While going through the Choicehotels POI folder, I noticed a few hotel coordinates were off. Also checked some others in Extra POI Editor. Does anyone know how I can contact the maintainer for this file?

Easy

Just click on the maintainers name, then click on contact.

Choice Hotels

I am also a user of Choice Hotels and with their rewards, I got five free nights last year and have already two for this year.
One should notice that the POI file was last updated in 2010 and things have changed. The file lists six hotels in Alaska but today there are nine. Alabama lists 114 but there are 138 today and counting. I have yet to go through the rest of the country.
The key word is "Batch Coding". IT HAS ERRORS.
Every Choice Hotel has a number such as AL022 where the AL is Alabama and the number so if you called Choice Hotels reservations and you know the number that is all you have to mention and they will book you.
There are many different names under Choice Hotels and each do have their standards so if you get to the spot and the motel has a different name it means they raised or lowered their standards. They have people checking them out. We once stayed at one where when I turned on the bathroom light the roaches ran. Later passing the place it was no longer a Choice Hotel.
I know this because I have my own Choice Hotel files by states and am upgrading them from their directory and including the number and telephone number so that I can call ahead and be sure I have a room.

Me too !

I have all my nights set and motel reservations made for our upcoming travels in June.
Other than staying at an Extended Stay Motel in NH, since our favorite Comfort Inn was sold out due to large functions in the area the week we are there, we are staying 12 nights at Choice Hotel Locations of which 10 will be "free" nights on Rewards Points.
Stayed 43 nights at Choice Hotels last year !

Anyway, I have the Choice Hotels app for my iPad which I use to select locations or by logging on to their web site.

I also keep a Custom POI file for the "locations" I have stayed in that were a good location. Not all motels are created (or managed) equal !

Me Too!!!

We gave up on Days Inn / Super 8 a couple of years ago. Choice hotels all the way, and back. I loved those gas cards last year & free nights this year.

Really?

Are smart aleck comments really neccessary (See "Who'd a thunk")??

THEY HAVE A PROBLEM

If I was boss I would replace either "MY SELF" or its IT section. Guess who goes.
Choice Hotels has an Internet problem and either the head honcho goes or they need a complete replacement of their IT department for it is not up to date with its listings.
The comparison between their book listing and online listing has much to be desired.
If truck stops can give us daily prices of gas then a hotel group can give us a listing of their chain hotels monthly.

Not necessary
