Anyone have an insight whether Garmin GPS are ineffective on Vandenberg AFB?
On or near?
I drive through that area aperiodically, and my Nuvi works fine on US101, and on the coastal roads in the area. (My next trip will be in about two weeks.)
(If you're driving on the base, you've got other rules to follow!)
There are lots of ham radio operators in the Lompoc - Santa Maria - San Lous Obispo area, and I haven't heard anything about difficulties with GPS.
What's the concern?
