I load geocaches on my 1450 as poi so I Can see them as i travel. I don't like to use the tourguide because if I am traveling thru a city it has locked up on me . I would just like for them to show up on the map but here is the problem at low speed it works just fine but at hwy speed they never show up am I doing something wrong? it use to work on my TomTom
Is this while you are
Is this while you are navigating a route or just while driving around? If the former, you're doing nothing wrong because the units are designed to zoom in or out automatically based upon the speed you are traveling. If the latter, adjust your zoom before you travel, but be aware that the maximum zoom level you can use and still have the icons appear is 300 feet.

The Tour Guide option is the only one that will alert you if you're driving near a cache. If you save them to favourites, they will appear on the map.
Have you tried paperless geocaching? I found it useful when I used my nuvi (I now use an app on my phone).
