Welcome Android Man

Hang around and enjoy the site. You'll enjoy quite a bit more than the weekly updates for Red Light and Speed Camera files.

Welcome

Welcome to the site.

Since you are new, you may want to do a couple of the Beginner Exercises.

To make it easy, when you click on the first link below, hold down the "Cntl" key as you left-click. That will open a new "Tab" in your browser in the "Tab" bar. Click on that 'Tab" to do the first exercise - leaving the "Tab" you are now reading open and available to click on and return here.

The first link makes sure settings on your computer are such that you can do more advanced POI loading.

This next link helps you get a backup by attaching your GPS to your computer. (NEVER do anything to your GPS until you have a backup)

I know you are chomping at the bit to get the camera file, but it is not really that big a deal - just seems that way to you right now. The myriad files available here on poi-factory are the real draw, plus the ability to get advice from experienced users.

So visit the site several times a week for the time it takes to become an active memer (see http://www.poi-factory.com/node/262) and then you will be set.

post and stay active

If you arent in a hurry, just post (help others) every week, and you will get full, active status, which will allow you to get the speed, and/or Red Light cameras for free.

Unless you are the lead sled dog, the view never changes. I is retard... every day is Saturday! I still use the Garmin 3590 LMT even tho I upgraded to the Garmin 61 LMT. Bigger screen is not always better in my opinion.

Welcome

Hope you find the board enjoyable. BE sure and read some of the FAQ's on the home page. There are a number of good one to get you started.

Somehow I get the feeling Android Man just wanted the RLC file without being involved with our welcoming committee.
