Identifying Coordinates
If you obtain Mapsource software (do a search on Mapsource on this site to obtain more information), you can connect your GPSr to your PC and then transfer your favorites into Mapsource as Waypoints. At that point you can see the lat and longitude of those points.
Not sure if that was what you meant by your question.

mkahn,
Using Mapsource meant, using your PC to identify your current coordinates. I was looking for a way to see that info in the GPS(Nuvi 660) unit itself. Say, when I am alone in the woods.
Thanks for your response.

Two ways to do that...
I was looking for a way to see that info in the GPS(Nuvi 660) unit itself. Say, when I am alone in the woods.
1: You can select the satellites screen by hitting the green bars in the upper left corner of the screen - your present location will be in the lower left corner of the satellites screen.
2: hit "where to", then "coordinates" your current location will be there. If you want to save that location, hit 'next', then 'save' and give it a name, and it will then show up under 'Favorites'.
