Yesterday, I entered about 20 My Places addresses in my Mio 689. I then discovered that I had a duplicate entry, so I deleted it. Unfortunately, I must have clicked the wrong button somewhere as it deleted every My Place.
So, being a Programmer, I had a look at the files on the Mio and discovered one which contained a backup of the My Places addresses, and which was an XML file. So I ammended it in a text editor and saved it back to the Mio. But for some reason it didn't recognise it or any of the changes.
Does anybody here know anything about Mio My Places XML files?
