Road Trip

I find this software to be inordinately difficult to use. I wonder tho if only one map (hopefully the newest one) can be unlocked? I see several other maps on there and they are all locked with .4 being the only one unlocked. Any idea why they lock when a new map is downloaded? I dislike Garmin programming anyway. After starting to read the Steve Jobs book, I see Garmin as an anthesis to his ideas which might be the reason for the difficulty in using their products. Not I might add any worse than others in their section of the market.

Assume you are talking about Garmin's RoadTrip software for the MAC. If so, I don't think that this software is being updated any longer as Garmin wants both MAC and PC users to use BaseCamp. You can download it from http://www8.garmin.com/support/download_details.jsp?id=4449

Using the PC version of Basecamp I can access all of the versions of City Navigator on my PC, not just the newest one, as well as any other maps stored there. Also, one of the advantages of using Basecamp is that you don't need any maps on your computer as the program will use the maps installed on your GPS when it's attached to the computer.
