Interesting article in The New York Times. I have to admit that my GPS has taken away a lot of the thought process I used to use when I need to figure out how to get someplace.

The hypothesis is that article is a bunch of bunk.
People said the same thing about the Internet and about Google and subsequent studies showed that Google didn't diminish the users' mental capacity but in fact increased it.
