I got a NUVI 40 for xmas.. Want to know...

I'd compare the features on it to what you want, and need.

I dont really know what I need or want.. I like the idea of the traffic stuff but but that is really all the differnt it is.. Oh yea, I can go even bigger by getting the full blowen stuff but not needing it.

The differnt seems to be traffic, Routes,Exit notices and where your car is. I am sure there are other options but not sure now. I did do the compairison review and yes, I liked the better of the high line but do I really ned it.. Can I do great wit the 40? Guess That is what I am asking, I can upgrade for about $80 or so more.. Want help here!

For $80, I'd go for it. Going for a higher quality unit is not a bad thing. Also, the 40 has what, 2 gigs of memory? Go for at least 4 gigs.

I don't know a lot about it but for $80 it is hard to beat. Because of the limited memory you might want to check this link on putting the map on the SD card.

I Returned the Nuvi 40 for a Nuvi 2455LMT. I have not been able to play with it yet but we will see,

I still love my c530 but that may change soon.. Does anyone else have any of the new 2012 gps from garmin, and if so how do you like it?

I think most of us here have the latest; 2012.30.

Well I got the 2455lmt and did get the most current map.

Man, it so so differnt from my street 5x seriers. Got so much to leqrn again. But I do like it so far.
