nuvi 350 question (again)

One more question regarding the preloaded maps, since all I know is the c320 with the maps loaded onto an SD card. When updated maps come out and I update them on the nuvi do they get overwritten on the internal memory, or will it not allow that and I would then need to put them on an SD card?

You can do either. You can

You can do either. You can replace the old map with the updated map and save the old map on to an SD Card. Technically you could have both map on the nuvi at the same time and check which map to display on the Map About screen. I really think you would not want to keep the old map. What good is it?

If you update the maps, the

If you update the maps, the will be written to the same file as the maps you have now. You would not need to put them on an SD card. For example, my Zumo has a file named "gmapprom.img" which contains the map data. If I were to purchase an update to the maps, this file would be overwritten with the new data.

Thanks
