problems loading revised POI's file

Hello all,

Been having problems loading POI's into my nuvi 1490's sd card. Something I have done numerous times.

The problem is that I have in my documents a "POI download" folder that I store all my downloaded and custom POI's. Yesterday, I deleted then added some POIs to this folder and when I removed the old POI's from the nuvi using the POI loader and loaded the revised folder into the nuvi, I keep getting the old file without the revisions. When I check the revised POI folder, the changes are there and done but when I load into the nuvi it keep loading the old file. Whats up with that? Am I doing something wrong? Any help would be appreciated.

Did you remove the backup

Did you remove the backup .gpi file on your Nuvi?

What version of poi

What version of poi loader?

The new version of poi loader (2.7.0) does not ask me if I want to remove the old ones. When I put pois on a SD card it puts them on with an extension of xxx.poi. It should be xxx.gpi. Check the drive/sd from the computer and see what the extension is.
