How to add road

There is a missing road by my house, I don't want to wait 6 months for a fix (I reported it). Can I add the road manually? On the Gps directly or on a PC program. It is a Garmin Nuvi 1450LMT.

@bwarden, are you saying that you can "edit" a Garmin Map (say NA), add a road, and then save that Garmin Map back to the Garmin?

No, that is a separate mapping company run by users. Their maps can be formatted to work on a Garmin GPS. But they are not as good as the offical Garmin maps around here. I guess because no company maintains them.
