Nuvi 3490LMT (No stop route button on main page)

On my new Nuvi 3490, there is no "Stop Route" button on the main page. There was one of those on all the other Nuvis, is mine defective or is it the way it is with this new one?

Two of many ways to use the STOP route feature:
Click on the 3 dashes on the bottom right (while traveling a route) and go to the next screen to use stop route -OR- you can place the STOP button on the main screen by using MAP LAYERS.
On my 3490 I have the STOP and DETOUR button on the main screen.

Thanks, so it is unlike the other Nuvis where there is a big stop button on the main page, I am happy to know that my unit is not defective. One more question, after updating the unit, I have lost some of the junction views and it sometimes hangs in some areas and will not switch back to the map page after displaying a junction view. Has anyone else notice any adverse conditions after updating the unit to map 2012.30 and firmware v3.5?
