This week I will complete my 6th week of "Pre Hab" for a knee replacement. Strengthing my legs with excercise and pool walking.....Surgeon. Therapist and Trainer all say this will make the recovery go much smoother......They better be right!!

The more prehab you do... and rehab after, the quicker you'll be back to normal. They may seem like they're "Physical Terrorists"... the more you see of them early on, the sooner you'll be done with 'em.

Believe what they are telling you! My father-in-law had hip replacement surgery, faithfully followed all their prehab & rehab & exercise plans and today he walks with a normal gate and no pain (he is 87).
A friend of his, about the same age, also had hip replacement surgery and refused to take any of the physical therpy or do any exercises. He thought he knew better. He has had 2 follow-up surgeries, walks with a bad limp and needs a cane (graduated from the walker).
