Hi....I see their are two services for my Garmin Nuvi 660 offering traffic updates. Can anyone provide some information on them? One is Navtec and the other Clearview. Is this a one time charge?

Navteq traffic which comes on many units comes with advertising. Personally I find the advertising very annoying.
I paid $50 for lifetime Clearview. In my area Clearview appears to have better coverage.
However I am still unsure whether this whole traffic reporting feature is worth while as it seems to be frequently inaccurate. Also, since the GPS is set to avoid traffic, it wants to reroute me over roads for which there may be no reporting and could be even slower.
Ultimately I frequently ignore traffic warnings.
