Gotten Cheap

They have dropped quite a bit in price. Back in July 2008, I bought a Garmin C550 on sale from Buy.com and the box that arrived was heavy. Heavier than one would expect for a C550. Opened the box up to discover one of these mounts included free. I did not order it and was not charged for it. I normally use a vent mount in my vehicle but when I use a different car or a rental I bring the beanbag along. Very useful and this price is good!

Bean bag mount

I have tried a custom mount to the dash, the window mount, laying it in the cupholders, and just setting it on the seat. I have gone to the bean bag exclusively. It suits me and makes changing from car to car a snap.

Good Price

At this price I may have to replace one of mind that is starting to have ball slipage. Not bad for 4 years of use.
