Firmware Update for Nuvi 7x5 Version 4.20

Firmware version 4.20 for nuvi 7x5 series:
http://www8.garmin.com/support/download_details.jsp?id=4357

Changes made from version 4.00 to 4.20:
Fixed an error that caused the unit to shut down or freeze when a user inserted a SD card.
Fixed an error that prevented a user from selecting a Country or State/Province while searching for an address using third-party maps.

Language Guide still broken in 4.20.

I just put this on my 755T. The Language Guide app is still muted, so Garmin did not fix this bug introduced in version 4.00.

New Firmware for 7x5 series

Although I haven't tested it yet, it doesn't look like Garmin addressed my issue that I discovered with the lane assist arrows not showing up properly.

7X5 Firmware

It suer would be nice if Garmin would update the Bluetooth portion of the firmware!

Nothing beat the Bluetooth

Nothing beat the Bluetooth on the 760. The 765T is terrible.

Recommend I install this on my 765T?

Or wait??

The Bluetooth on my C550 was rock solid too. I gave that unit to my youngest sister when I got my 765T. I did tell her if she decides to get rid of it I want it back!

Overall the description of fixes on this 4.20 update does not look impressive. Of course there may be other fixes that they did not mention. I work for a software company and our release notes never include every tiny little fix or change. Just the major stuff otherwise the notes would run for pages!

I support the right to keep and arm bears.

My experience is just the opposite:

I own both the 760 & 765T. my iPhone 4 does not even connect to the 760, but has no problem pairing with the 765T. I have tried to see if there's an update of the BT firmware on the 760, but Webupater does not indicate that there is one.
