Help - POI Loader will not load WAV files

Need some help, I downloaded the latest Garmin POI Loader and then up dated some of my POI's. The loader will not load WAV files and does not convert WAVs tp MP3s. My Garmin 1340 does not accept MP3s.
Is it possible to download the earlier version of the POI Loader and where do I go to get It?

I don't think POIloader ever did the MP3 to Wav conversion. You'll need some other software program to do that.
If you have a csv or gpx file with the POIs in it and the wav file with exactly the same name as the POI file except for the extension, then POIloader should take those 2 files and create a poi.gpi file on your Nuvi.

Which version of Poi loader did you use? The newest being 2.7.0
Do you have sox in the poi loader folder?
Are you using sox 14.0.1?

As far as I can tell, v2.7.0 is the current version.

Where did your PoiLoader go?
I just updated to PoiLoader to 2.7.0 and it did not end up in x:/programfiles/Garmin/PoiLoader but in an quite another place. Just a random folder.

Did you auto-update from your existing POI loader, or do a manual install?
I auto-updated from 2.6.1and the folder did not change (C:\Program Files (x86)\Garmin\POI Loader\)

I downloaded this AM and it did not go in proper folder.
I redownloaded this afternoon and it works fine. ???????

Problem
Having heck of time loading the new ver.Running XP SP3 .Automatic will not load it.Manually I get two messages.(1)The feature you are trying to use on network resouces is unavailable.(2)MImain.msi file not found.First time ever had problem for any of the updates.Directing to same location in program files.

Installed ok for me by the manual mode. It even put it in the proper directory.
Auto update mode from the program failed though.
I hope it works ok.

Did you auto-update from your existing POI loader, or do a manual install?
I auto-updated from 2.6.1and the folder did not change (C:\Program Files (x86)\Garmin\POI Loader\)
I did a manual, as the Auto did not work.
