tomtom poi file format (*.tlv extension)

It seems that the format for tomtom poi files has changed. The files I downloaded from tt now have a *.tlv extension. My device will no longer see the old file extension. Any idea? thanks to all.

When I attach my TomTom GO 720 it shows up as drive J: and has .tlv files in J:\poi\ but I never put them there myself; the TomTom must have done it for me. All I have ever done is drop .ov2 files into my main map folder
J:\North_America_2GB
and they appear as POI groups.
.tlv files
The TT POI file extension is still .ov2. As VersatileGuy alluded to, the actual downloaded POI .ov2 file is in your map folder. A .tlv file is created in your poi folder. Google .tlv for more info on this file extension.
