Tampa red light cameras

As said here before, most of the city reps say that red light cameras are all about safety and not revenue.
This article n a Tampa paper begs to differ.
It is about money! The pensions for the Tampa police Dept need money and they stand behind cameras as a way to get it.
Revenue! Revenue!
This only show Tampa police is all about generating profit. To serve and collect.

Revenue
Suffolk County NY received only half the revenue expected in the last year from red light cameras. As a result they want to dump the provider. The problem was the cameras were not installed fast enough to suit the need for revenue.
