There is always a way to correct this; and it might not even require the getting down on one knee part; Either way, since you call it sin, I would like to remind you that the wages of sin is death;.... even though some might make an arguement that when you get married you have signed your death warrant.
For me, I have been married to the same woman for over 34 years and have not regretted it for one moment.
