Nuvi tracklog and timestamps in Google Earth

Has anyone loaded a Nuvi GPX tracklog into Google Earth and noticed that the time stamp for each track point has a funky time? If I load my track log into Mapsource the track points have the right time. At first I though it was in 24H format, but it's not. The GPX file loads and shows the track log of the trip very well, but if you right-click a track log point in GE and go to "properties" all the info for that pt. in time is there including mph, altitude long/lat but again the time is in a very strange format that looks like 24h but comparing it with Mapsource, it's not.
I'm wondering what GE is doing with the time stamp since all the other info is correct.
Track Time Stamps
I haven't loaded a GPX tracklog into Google Earth but have looked at the time stamps in the GPX files. I have an 855 so some of the stuff may or may not be relevant to other models.
On the 855 tracks are stored in the Garmin GPX directory in file "Current.gpx". Each track has a name in the format: "ACTIVE LOG: 31 JULY 2011 14:55". The date and time are LOCAL time, in this case it's Eastern Daylight (EDT). Each track segment has a track point containing a time tag in the format: "2011-07-31T18:55:52Z". The track point time is in Universal Time (UT) or sometimes called GMT or Zulu. Note that there the correct 4 hour time difference between EDT and UT (DC vs. London).
I also transferred the track using Mapsource and saved it as a GPX file. The track name and track point were the same as contained in the "Current.gpx" file.
To summarize: Track name is in Local Time, track point is in UT.
Examine the time differences in google Earth to see if they are different by the difference between your local time and UT.

It looks as though you may
It looks as though you may be right. Pulling my current GPX again this morning if I subtract 4 hours it appears to be right because I'm EST. I wonder if there is a setting in Google Earth that can adjust this, if there is I can't find it. Interestingly, adjusting the track point times from GMT to local is done automatically by Map source.
Still not sure
Actually EST should be an offset of 5 from GMT. However when I test my unit, which has the right time, an offset of 4 is correct. This is confusing. Could DST have something to do with this?
