Lion, Garmin and Google Oh My!!!

The situation: MacBookPro recently updated with Lion, Garmin60CSx, Safari

I frequently send waypoints directly from Google Maps to the 60CSx using the 'Send' option in Google Maps via Safari. But now it appears that the send option acts wonky. Sometimes the only option is to send to email (Yes, the GPS is connected, on and recognized), sometimes only the GPS option is not showing up as an option. Haven't seen any pattern to this at all yet.

Since I recently updated to Lion just a couple days ago, I'm thinking Safari, Google Maps, or the Garmin Communicator Plugin is/are not yet compatible with each other ?

Anybody else seeing this?

I have updated to Lion on both my MacBook Air and iMac, both run OK and I have not seen any problems. Although I have to admit I don't use Google Maps for waypoints. Are you using Garmin Communicator version 2.9.3?

Nuvi 360, OS X Lion 10.7

Thanks for the Warning

For us old-time Mac users, Lion may be too big a leap--for the time being at least. Maybe I'll upgrade after all the "bugs" get resolved. Will still lose a number of favorite Rosetta dependent applications. Oh, well...

Got Garmin Comm 2.9.3

Yeah, I am using Garmin Communicator 2.9.3

And I also tried using Google Chrome and Firefox with the same result.

Something to try--

try rebooting your system in 32-bit mode (hold down the 3 and 2 keys on the keyboard at startup) and see if that makes a difference.

Lion starts up machines in 64-bit mode whenever possible; there are still a bunch of 32-bit only drivers and kexts out there that are causing problems 9my son would like to update to Lion but a bunch of his pro audio gear won't play under Lion).

Nuvi 2460, 680, DATUM Tymserve 2100, Trimble Thunderbolt, Ham radio, Macintosh, Linux, Windows

Depends

I loaded a bunch of points a day or so ago and only once did it show up without GPS as an option. I tried last night to load some points, and it was erratic. Sometimes GPS showed up, sometimes it didn't.

Very strange.
