The Hard part is getting users to give me the Info.. I dont want to use just any info, I want the repair shops that people really use..

Bob I commend you for creating this POI, I think it’s a great idea!

One of the reasons for ‘low ‘POI turnout’ could possibly stem from the fact that not every driver owns their vehicle, some lease (including me). With the average lease running 36 months, including the warranty, drivers (me included, again) are hesitant to take their vehicle to just any service/repair center for more then an oil change. If a repair is necessary then it’s back to the dealership because it’s usually covered under the warranty.

I agree. Bobkz's idea was awesome. That's whey I so quickly made my submission to his list.
I agree with Mike that with the flood of newer cars, many people may not have an outside repair shop. I only have one because my vehicles are out of warranty now.
I wish I could add more to the list than my one submission, but finding a good shop is hard to do....thus, the list he is creating.

Indeed a fantastic idea! A gem of a POI file.

I didnt think of the new cars.. That would be true, if its under warenty, I wouldnt bring it somewhere other than the dealership.. oh well.. Still as they come in, I will update them..

And I just try to find differnt ways to use the POI's (Like the offbeat files too) just something one dont think of.. Thanks for your support everyone..
