Misiing Cameras @ Cutler Bay FL

Heads up until Ms POI updates the file.

While visiting Miami I found 3 missing cameras in the file by where we were staying, if you are headed for the keys you will pass them.

Town= Cutler Bay FL
Intersection -80.368477 25.579792
1 Camera Westbound on Caribbean Blvd (SW 200 St.)
1 Camera Southbound US1 (Dixie Hwy)
1 Camera Northbound US1 (Dixie Hwy)

Thanks for the heads-up, flaco!

Just as a double-check, I found this city government document listing all 6 of their RLC locations. Yours is the 1st one in the list.

All that would be needed is the lat/lon for the remaining intersections.

MaryAnn did you mean the one I sent plus the ones Gary reported? just checked today's file and I see the one Caribbean Blvd @ Dixie HWY was added but the other loactions are still missing.

Found some discrepancies

Miss POI.
Double checking the red camera file found some questionables in Miami Beach.

According to the MB Official web site http://web.miamibeachfl.gov/pd/scroll.aspx?id=56163 they have 10 camera locations.

1. Washington Ave. at 17th St. – Eastbound
2. Washington Ave at 17th St. – Southbound
3. Chase Ave. and Alton Rd. – Northbound
4. 63rd St. and Indian Creek Dr. – Southbound
5. 41st St. and Prairie Ave. – Northbound
6. 71st St. and Indian Creek Dr. – Northbound
7. Dade Blvd. and 23rd St. – Westbound
8. Alton Rd. and 17th St. – Westbound
9. Washington Ave. and Dade Blvd. - Eastbound
10. Indian Creek Dr. and Abbot Ave. - Southbound

Three of the locations in the POI file match their list, five of the locations in the POI file don't match their list.

Can you check, it seems some cameras may have been moved, for example you have one at 67th & Indian Creek but they show two at Indian Creek and neither one is at 67th.

I have sent a message to my source and have asked him to check this out and get back to me.

I like to use visual verification of locations when I can. Sometimes these state websites are very much out of date and inaccurate.
