Custom made your garmin

It is possible to Custom made your garmin and select the icon that you want and do not want ? when I turn my GPS on on the buttom of my screen it show me 5 icons. The blue tooth (that I like very much) the traffic receiver that I also like the mp3 player the tools and the brightness..

Now the MP3 player yes it is a good feature , But who really use it? when you have in your car a AM-FM radio and a CD player when I drive I prefer the Radio and my CD player instead of the mp3 player from my garmin also the brightness Icon should had be inside the tools section in other words you adjust the brigh ones and forget it..it would be nice if I can replace those 2 with others. On some Garmin I notice that it show the speed limit can someone pleae tell me If I can add this feature into my garmin and how to do it?

Thanks

Do Not think so

Looking at the manual of the streetpilot C550, it appears that your primary display is fixed with those five icons at the bottom.

I use the mp3 player all the time in my 660. It's one of my favorite features and why I don't like the newer models which no longer have the mp3 player.

I find the AM-FM radio frustrating on long road trips when I have to scan for a new station every few hundred miles. Not to mention the commercials. The 4GB SD card, always installed in the Nuvi, takes up zero room. I no longer have to carry around multiple CD cases and pop them in and out of the CD player. Finally, the SD card holds a lot of CDs. grin I love my 660 for the mp3 player. It's one of the main reasons I had it fixed recently rather than buy a new unit.
