The entire Missouri River basin is having flood issues - I-29 in Western Iowa is Closed - as are many state and country roads... keep an eye on news about the Ft. Peck dam.
KY: Tornado hit Louisville area - saw some news reports of damage at the Derby track as well.

We had a brief rain shower here yesterday afternoon/evening, but we need more. The probability is going up this weekend and into next week. We'll see if the weatherman knows what he is talking about.
The bizarre weather continues considering how much of the country is flooded.

Well I made it to another
Well I made it to another Friday. All it has been doing is raining here with an occasional tornado. The last one on Tuesday missed us by only a mile or so. Some people are still without power. The Sun is supposed to be visible tomorrow; I will believe it when I see it.

RIP Detective Columbo... they don't make shows like that anymore.
Legendary television actor Peter Falk, who was best known for his role as a squinty, rumpled detective in the hit series “Columbo,” has died at the age of 83.
Falk died Thursday night at his Beverly Hills home, according to a statement released by family friend Larry Larson.
A cause of death has not been released.
In 2008, his daughter Catherine Falk, said he had been suffering from Alzheimer’s disease and dementia.
