We wanted you to be one of the first to know about some very exciting news! Good Sam and Magellan have teamed up to bring you the all-new Magellan Roadmate Pro 9165T, an in-vehicle GPS that is specifically designed for RVers. All of the RV campground locations from the Trailer Life Directory as well as Good Sam Club discount locations are pre-programmed into the GPS, so all you have to do is set it up in your RV, car or truck and you're ready to go.

It's simple to use, with an extra-wide, high-definition 7-inch touchscreen that's easy to read and a one-touch menu that lets you enter or search for your destination without unnecessary steps. The device can also adjust routes based on height and weight restrictions. With all of these features and more, we're sure you'll find the Magellan Roadmate Pro 9165T to be invaluable on your travels. It will be available...in August.

Since I am one of the RV'ers this is targeted to, it will be interesting to see what they are doing about updates -- cost & frequency -- and what the initial cost will be.

I don't think any of the Roadmates are equipped for custom user POIs.

why pay for what you can

why pay for what you can have for free
there are no GPS coordinates on their site so probably the coordinates that will be on the GPS will be off. and they will not be constantly updated like here.they have (11,900 RV parks, campgrounds, service centers, RV dealers, and local tourist attractions) here there are 13704 US campgrounds not including canada and climbing including all campgrounds not only those in trailer life
i will keep using my garmin with all the POI s available here

Magellan for RV'ers

I currently have a Maestro 4040 for which I have my RV specific custom POI files from POI Factory on an SD card.... works great.

I recently purchased the 7" Roadmate 9020T-LM for my motorhome but soon found out I could not load my custom RV related POI files. Magellan tech support confirmed custom POI files can not be loaded on ANY Roadmate GPS units which makes my 9020T-LM useless to me. I returned it to Costco for a refund.

I'd suggest you not bother with the one offered by Good Sam, you'll be disappointed, the RV POI files are flawed and outdated. Instead, look for a 7" GPS which custom POI files can be easily used. I found several options for $100 or less here
