Does this bean bag mount work with my nüvi® 3760T (sale $15.50)

.

Looks like the same ball mount, but hard to tell. I can't see why Garmin would change the specs.

Yes

Yes it will work. I use one everyday with my 3790. The ball mount is standard and could be used with any Nuvi.

Great, I was thinking Garmin

Great, I was thinking Garmin may be getting like smartphones where you have to re-buy everything. But I decided just to use my 5 dollar vent mount with the ball. I drive a Corolla and it didn't look like I could use in on my shift console.

Now my next quest is to see if the ball on Akron's seat mount will work. No one seems to know what size they are, so no help from Garmin or Akron. Soon Akron is going to sell a seat mount with their ball and have a phone adapter like Garmin. Perfect!

They work OK

I bought one of these and used it for the first time on a long trip (12hours) a few weeks back. It worked just fine. It stayed put, did not slide around even on some very bumpy roads.

Have that

I use that friction mount with my 750 and it works fine. The only thing I have noticed is that if you use it on a dusty dash you will have to clean the pads from time to time. I think the ball mount size is standard throughout the Garmin line. At least I have never seen one that was only spec'd for just a few Garmins.

Works Great

I have the exact same one. Ilooked at various types of mounts but settled on that one and have never even used the normal one. What I like is that it can be easily taken off the dash and set on the floor and covered up. It is easy to put back and it never, at least in my case moves around.

Just got a return email from

Just got a return email from Garmin and it is 17mm, so the Akron goose neck mount will work and I'll still have power through the normal Garmin holder!

Garmin ball mount is the same size as the ball mount on Droid X

The Garmin ball mount is the same size as the ball mount on the Motorola Droid X car mount accessory. I also am able to use my Garmin model 010-11280-00 new smaller version dash type mount with my Droid X Smartphone.

I didn't think of that I

I didn't think of that I have a droid &mount, but I need the PND to be lower. I think the Akron seat mount is 15" and is adjustable.

I am guessing that is a good

I am guessing that is a good price for the Garmin Portable Friction Mount

I have the Bracketron UFM-210-BL NavMat II

sold on Amazon for 18.00 and Meijer for 20.00 (where I bought mine) The bottom has a removable self sticking base that is like what is used on reusable medical pads for TENS and other electronic medical devices. Quite nice it moves from car to car and does not leave any residue.

If you google it is is also sold at WM and Target

It wont work for me, I need

It wont work for me, I need it lower because it obstructed the drivers view (DC law). I was planning to place it on my shift console.

It will work (mechanically speaking)

It will fit any Garmin. I've yet to see a Garmin that did not have a 17mm ball on the mount.

Your only issue will be your choice of position.
