It's supposed to be in the mid 90's every day this week and will barely make it into the 70's at night.

I'm not going to need my furnace until at least the middle of October.

Getting back to this.

It has been a while since i have been on, but I am finally getting some time to look at my old files and upate them. I have always enjoyed playing wiht the GPS and see where it takes me, and this site has always been the best place to find POI files of new and interesting places.

Rhubarb Fest

The weather was perfect for our towns rhubarb festival yesterday. Looks good for today also. The church ladies have baked about 4,000 pies to sell. Live music and sand sculpturing contests will continue all day today.

We're FINALLY coming out of a long, wet Spring in Oregon--supposed to be clear, sunny, and in the 80's for the next few days, maybe my new Raspberry plants will finally start growing!

Air Show

I just returned from the Reading, PA WWII air show. WOW! This was my first time at the event. It was hard to tell what the best part was......all the aircraft, or the folks dressed in period uniforms, etc. Thank goodness it wasn't nearly as hot as the weekend before. Can't wait 'till next year.
