Gander Mtn. has Nuvi 1450's on sale for $159 with a $30 rebate added. Your final cost would be $129. That's a heck of a price.
I bought a 1450 ten months ago from Amazon.com for about $175 and I just love it. That Gander Mtn. price is spectacular.

Payed $210Cdn in Jan at Costco, wish I could say the same regarding loving it. Long live my 750 and for the bush my legend.

Just got my 1450lmt for $179 US Got the store to match their online price. saved me $60 right there and with lifetime maps, that , to me , is a better price than Gander mountain.

Bought 1490LMT...

I recently purchased my 1490LMT for $190 from Shop NBC. There are deals out there if you look for them. The problem though is not to get stung in the process.

Likely it's Tiger Direct . . .

is my guess. They bought out Circuit City a year or two ago. They're mostly online and catalog but do have some bricks&mortar stores, too. I've bought computers and stuff from them in the past.

You can get one at compusa for $129. But beware, their return policies are obnoxious.

I have purchased a lot of equipment through Tiger Direct, including GPS and computer parts. I have never experienced any problems with Tiger Direct. I have been buying equipment from Tiger Direct for many years.
