The audience will survive even if they get a bit of indigestion.

Considering the Diner & Dives is one of the most downloaded file at POI I expected a bigger reaction from the show's fans after hearing the news.

mmmmmmmmmmmm food

mmmmmmmmmmmm food

thats the best show on that

thats the best show on that network

Although I like the show

I'll be fine without it.

New trend in shows

Most if not all networks are going to talk shows. They are cheaper to air. Guests mostly come on if they have either a new movie or book to talk about and they don't get paid. The casts are usually only one or two people and maybe a band to pay. And the sets are smaller. (Less out lay means more money)

sometimes cheaper isn't always better, I suspect that is why we are seeing all the reality shows. If I watch food/travel channel show it is the ones where they go places and do food(Diners Drive-ins and Dives, 40$ Day, Man vs Food) some are gone now, one of these day I might actually get to some of these places.

I enjoy watching

the travel food shows and will definately make it a point to stop at the diners that have been featured. As for watching talk shows over the food/cooking shows, I'll pass. I think talk shows are boring. Maybe they will reconsider once the ratings drop.

Oh man. I use those POIs all

Oh man. I use those POIs all the time for great eats in my city.

Maybe, Maybe not...

Looks like FN is dumping the production company, not the show. The probable outcome is they'll payoff Page and then do the show themselves...

We always look for Triple D places first whenever we travel. Always look forward to new shows, new places to eat and of course, the latest update to the POI file.
