HELP (XL 350TM)

How can i put custom POI file that my company made on my tom tom XL 350TM. I try opening the map and putting them in there but no luck

different formats

TT uses the OV2 format for POI, Garmin the GPI. You can't change a GPI to an OV2, but you can load an OV2 into Extra POI Editor and save it as a GPI, CSV ot GPX.

What type of file is it?

What type of file is it? What is the extension? txt, csv, gpx, kml, etc.

GPI

its a GPI file I work on the railroad and its all railroad mile post but its files off a Garmin

There are a couple programs that will do the conversion.

This next one is a on-line converter

This one is called extra poi edit and is another on-line one.

I don't think "extra poi editor" http://turboccc.wikispaces.com/Extra_POI_Editor will read .gpi
