For years I have been doing a workout each morning as the sun rises. I enjoy the sun coming up and getting a jumpstart on my day. Even though I retired nearly six years ago, I have stayed in the same routine and enjoy being on deck as early as 4:30 am.

I too feel I accomplish more with my day by getting up when the sun rises.

A bank robbery

A hooded robber burst into a Texas bank and forced the tellers to load a sack full of cash.

On his way out the door a brave Texas customer grabbed the hood and pulled it off revealing the robber's face.

The robber shot the customer without a moment's hesitation.

He then looked around the bank and noticed one of the tellers looking straight at him. The robber instantly shot him also.

Everyone else, by now very scared, looked intently down at the floor in silence.

The robber yelled, "Well, did anyone else see my face?"

There are a few moments of utter silence in which everyone was plainly afraid to speak. Then an elderly man tentatively raised his hand and said, "My wife got a pretty good look at you.

Upon the perp bursting into the bank, and brandishing a weapon, more than one of the customers would have pulled their own weapon, and let the air out of the fool... a better setting for this bit of humor might be New York City. smile

Sun is out today

The sun is out today. Looks like Spring will really be here for good. We had some flash in the pans in the D.C. area but they quickly stopped, being replaced by more cold weather and rain. But now ... I have my fingers crossed.
