Alert question

Hello everyone, happy Sunday!

I've uploaded a bunch of POIs via the POIloader using manual mode. I was a very happy camper until I went looking and noticed something odd.

No, not me! razz (well, ok, I'm a little odd...)

Anyway, all of the POIs have the proper alert distances as I input them except for the weigh station POI. Every other one shows the alert distance when I look at them on my GPSr, but the weigh station one shows no alert distance.

I have reloaded them numerous times to make sure I didn't fat finger something, but alas, there is no joy in mudville today.

Example: Walmart, (on the go screen) the window comes up and states: Alert distance: 1.0 miles.

Weigh Station, (on the go window) Nada, zip, el nothing sad

Any suggestions, hints, clues...etc?

TIA,

Not sure why.But TourGuide

Not sure why.But TourGuide will not show the alert distance on the gps screen.Like the along the route alert does. When you used poiloader and set the distance you are good to go.You can run gps in simulation mode to check if needed.

Custom pois

It is nice to show the alert distance on the gps screen.Kinda gives you that secure feeling custom pois are set correctly.

Another user found that when you have a TourGuide file.Right before you hit Go for one of the pois you will see a icon on screen.Touch it to check your alert message.

I don't seem to have this icon on the GO screen on a zumo 660 or 765T, just the Play button for the sound file.

Check sound file

Here is the post http://www.poi-factory.com/node/32269 .Look at post by selfruler Try Loading a .Wav File with a TourGuide POI
. I tried it on the 265 and it was there and it worked for TourGuide only files.

I missed the last word (message) and thought that the user was saying there was an icon popping up on the GO screen that, when tapped, would show TourGuide alert distance. Sorry about that.

I do have the icon to play the alert sound file.
