Should be a great game!
Go Big Ben
I'm a Bears fan, so I'll watch the commercials and cheerleaders. What? No cheerleaders? Why watch it then. (I know the Bears don't have cheerleaders either, but had we beat the Packers and gone to the Superbowl, I'm sure we'd have brought some to entertain the Packers fans while they were waiting for the next commercial.)
Green Bay by 24.
Da Bears hurt me this year ,,,,,,,,but i still have to pull for the pac.......NFC Central
Even though I live in Philly I have to root for the Packers. I know they beat my Eagles but there is no way I can root for the Steelers. It's not that I don't like the team, I just can't stand their QB.
Bob, no disrespect meant toward you but, in my opinion, the only place "Big Ben" should be going is to jail for raping that poor woman.
Bob, no disrespect meant toward you
Were charges ever filed?
He started the Ben Roethlisberger Foundation to "support for police and fire departments throughout the US with a particular emphasis on support for service dogs and to enhance the quality of life for residents of Findlay, OH and Pittsburgh, PA.".
Donated his first playoff check to the Tsunami relief in 2004
Just because no charges were filed doesn't mean he didn't do it. I know that some "stars" in different professions have gotten preferential treatment when it comes to the law and I believe that's what happened in this case. I also believe he paid-off the family of his victim. The only thing I will add is that if, in fact, he did pay the family to "forget" about what happened The family needs to share the blame for him not being arrested.
I will say, without a doubt, that God forbid if it were my daughter I would be in jail for getting rid of that piece of trash.
As far as those things you listed, I'd like to ask you if you believe it absolves him, or gives him a free pass for the rape?
Yeah, Cal Bears
Aaron Rogers and Desmon Bishop
They did it. The best team won. Congratulations to them.
A very entertaining game AND the best team won!
The Steelers battled back after falling behind big time, and the Pack kept chugging despite losing four starters during the game. Best of all, it wasn't a blowout and it wasn't a defensive stinker
What a lousy game.
It was a great game and, for me, the team I wanted to win did in fact win.
You can bet there won't be too many at work in Green Bay today.
But, the singing of the national anthem was atrocious. I don't know why people can't sing this song as it is written and not try to put their own stamp on it. Stupidity? Maybe?
The Pack deserves this win great hard fought game!
Hey let people sing the way they want to sing this is America..
But by the time she sung, "What so proudly we hailed" I hit the mute button.
This isn't like it's a cover from another artist. Respect the national anthem; any anthem, from any country!
And, she flubbed it to boot, what a LOSER!
Edit - Her brains and talent seem to be located on her chest. If that's all she has, I pity her. Just another pop-tart.
Take that as you will...
I think it's ego, they think it's artistic doing it their way.
I agree with all of you who said the person who sang our National Anthem was horrible.
Someone suggested that we have the choir from the Naval Academy sing at the next super bowl so it can be sung right. And while we're at it lets get back to some good marching bands at halftime playing some John Philip Sousa. No I'm not old fashioned, just patriotic.
And a fly over above a domed stadium with the dome closed, I must be missing something. To hell with the weather open the damn thing up.
