I was in Jordan last week on business and read an article in the local paper that said they now estimate there are 2000 people who own a PND.
The article went on to give the typical PND versus cell phone navigation pro/con debate.
Makes you realize how blessed we are as a country and makes me realize how blessed I am personally (I have two PNDs plus my cell phone!).
While many in the Middle East may not have a GPS, cells are owned by a great many people, and are relied on as a 'do all' device including the Internet, music, videos, email, social networking etc. And, as a GPS!
