Revised POI loader? 2.2.0

Garmin has a revised POI loader for the Mac. The version number is 2.2.0, which seems to be the same as what I've got already, but with a revision date of 1/25/2011.
Changes made from version 2.1.0 to 2.2.0:
* Fixed issue where associating bitmap with gpx file could cause crash.
* Fixed issue where links embedded in gpx files where not being processed.
* Fixed issue where 'Remove All POIs' only removed the poi.gpi file.
* Added progress bar for creation and transfer of gpi file.
* Added ability to select a single file as a source for POIs.
* Added ability to specify the name of the newly created gpi file.
Requires Intel based Mac and OSX 10.5.8 or later.

Sounds like it's the MAC version of 2.6.0 for the PC.

Hopefully without the comma bugs in 2.6.0
Someone would need to test this and report.
Feedback
I got brave and loaded POI v 2.2.0 even though 2.1 was working fine. After loading, my Mac then would no longer see the Garmin and SD card as a drive. I finally had to reboot the Mac with the Garmin plugged into the USB port to see the drives again. I don't know if this was an anomaly with the Mac or the new POI software.
Same comma issues as 2.6
I tried 2.2.0 last night, and it appears to have the same comma issues discussed in the 2.6.0 PC version. I kept a copy of 2.1.0 just in case, and will continue using it until I edit my problematic POI files.
POI Loader 2.2
When I used POI Loader 2.2 on an existing .csv file that worked OK on 2.1, I got an error message stating a problem at location XXXX and nothing after that would be loaded. I went back to using 2.1 and no issues.
I've owned numerous Garmin GPS devices and found their software not intuitive on the device and other software buggy. They make a great GPS but should be farming out software development IMHO.

In my opinion, outsourcing the development IS the problem. It's being done withot effective controls on the end product.
