I have a Magellan RoadMate 3045, I subscribed this morning to download the RLC POI's, and downloaded them.
I can't find the CD for my GPS, but I managed to download the Magellan POI file editor from a link posted in this forum.
I converted the .csv's to .MGLN's, and hit transfer but that just comes up with a save as dialog.
I saved the MGLN files to \USR\CPOI but I can't find anything in my settings to import them and they aren't showing up on my maps or POI search.
Has anybody gotten this to work on a 3045 or similar model? Can you help me? Thanks...
Per Magellan Support, this
Per Magellan Support, this cannot be done with this unit.
Which is total BS, and now I am extremely unhappy with my GPS...

How did you do the conversion? [I converted the .csv's to .MGLN's, and hit transfer but that just comes up with a save as dialog.]
I downloaded and thought I installed MagellanCommunicator_110... but can not locate it in the programs listing..
Does the 3030 allow uploading of POI for Europe Maps?
thnks
